The font family, sans serif, is a typeface family with a unique character set based on a humanist philosophy. While it can render various types of text in different styles, the sans serif typeface family is especially known for creating clean, legible text that is both easy to read and easy on the eyes.
This typeface became the standard for both an inexpensive generic typeface used in printed advertising and newspapers, as well as for high-end corporate email clients.
When Adobe released the Open Type standard in 1999, many web designers tried to update their existing typefaces with Open Font Variations, but few found success.
Monotype’s serif typeface has inspired creative designers and typographers for decades. The pioneering application of this typeface to display text and images for websites and other digital mediums such as books, magazines, and advertisements has onwards led to its widespread adoption.
